I would like an open discussion forum where groups are setup where we can chat live to each other.

Lol yes that's the algorithm metric I keep forgetting.
Don’t, always remember. Soon hopefully you will get the 6 letters PMI-ACP :-)

How about a badge for:

- Top Contributor of the Month
- Top influencers for the top 10
- Best rates Blog of the Month

There are a lot more badges that cna motivate people. Unfortunately it is something virtual but it motivates people, that’s the truth. Look how happy Dinah was with the PMXPO2018 badge.
Yeah I don't mind the xpo type badges, but the badges you mentioned sounds more meaningful cos its individual-based. Yes I think if someone reaches the top 10 of those categories they should get one (ahem). You should get one for most letters right? ;-)

The trick would be to find certifications with the longest letters.

Sante, there are some nice suggestions. But is there actually a way how can we reach people who can make the proposed improvements? How does it work?

Yes Lenka, I did resch out to them and they have a priority list for the site enhancement. Since I joined in 2015, there has been major improvements, maybe not fast enough but good enough.

We shall wait and see.

Good one Vincent, yes the influence algorithm is a beast in itself. I have posted more questions, comments, answers and blog articles in the last 4-5 days than even before (yes I test these things to prove certain theories) and yet my influence just dropped 1 point overnight.
Maybe that’s the technical issue. What if the variable that counts your contributions has a wrong format and when you post too much it overflows in that terrible huge minus number? :)
Ok, just kidding. But if it’s supposed to be fair it should determine value of the contribution and not just amount. I personally value your contributions a lot. But imagine if someone would comment just for commenting without value added.

Lenka actually you may have stumbled on something. I actually did notice an anomaly. When I rated or commented an old post like say I stumbled on an article from say 2016, and commented/rated, the next day or so my influence dropped. It happened twice.
