Hi, what are your favorite free to use project management tools for team members communication, documents sharing, collaboration, process design, agile progress reporting. I would like to avoid excessive use of emails. Thanks! Saving Changes...

This is a great question!!! I've been thinking about it too.
Last week I did a quick search, and ran across some reviews. The products noted in the reviews aren't all free, but all seemed to be pretty reasonably priced if there was a charge to use them.
I have just done a quick skim over them, so still don't have a direction yet...
Does free-trial count as free? There are many of those. Most PM software with great features will have trial versions. So combining this with free collaboration tools such as Slack (but this has premium services also) or the truly 100% open-source collaboration tool Hubbion.
Have you look at OfficeLibre and ProjectLibre for general office product.
#slack and Trelo could be interesting

Thanks Sante
I will check Hubbion Saving Changes...

No trials, I need something free for long term. I’m working as volunteer for a non profit so all “big tools” are out of question. And I really don’t want to distribute everything by emails, that would not work. But because I spent all my life in corporations I realized I don’t really keep track of good tools that are free, I’m not familiar with them. For instance from Google?
I’ll check the Hubbion, thanks. And I saw Slack, that’s also a good one.

In my opinion maillist method is the most functional. Several Universities and developers teams utilize it for huge teams interactions. Like with thousands of subscribers.

How many users will you have?
Here is a note about Asana from the second link I posted earlier:
With over 40,000 customers, including Dropbox, Tesla, and Uber, Asana promises “teamwork without email.” Google Drive integration, the ability to forward an email to Asana and have it be automatically turned into a task, and a comprehensive list of keyboard shortcuts make Asana a top contender for usability and functionality.
Asana is priced based on the number of users and is actually free for the first 15.

That is definitely interesting, 15 sounds good. So far we are small team but we are just starting and the project has international ambitions so I have to think about how much will the team grow over time. Thanks!!
