I'm currently writing a book for people in civil engineering fields about bringing a drone safely, legally, and profitably into their company or department operations. Most of the book will be about effective project management. I'm looking for more examples or data points on the cost and schedule (actual vs estimated) to give readers an accurate reality check on expectations. The book is packed with lessons learned from the past 2+ years of "Part 107" rules in the USA. If you have any major lessons learned I'll be grateful to hear that too. Anyone who contacts me to share their experience will get a free copy of the paperback book when it is available in May 2018. I will keep your name and company anonymous and confidential. Thanks, Brett

Looks like good offer, I can see that a drone can be useful in substations and switch-yards.

Eliminating the risk for arc flash so no human reach near restricted area and the drone can do few jobs from top.

Thanks Kevin. I would still love your help or input. Australia is leading the way with commercial drones in many ways. How would you like to talk more? Thanks, Brett

Love can sweep you off your feet and carry you along in a way you've never known before. But the ride always ends, and you end up feeling lonely and bitter. Wait. It's not love I'm describing. I'm thinking of a monorail.
