I am interested in the answer to this as well. I am trying to find the best way to have several of my fellow project managers gain an understanding of Agile.
Today in fact I was preparing a couple of presentations. I made one to discuss the Manifesto and Principles. Then I made one that presents the different methodologies: Scrum, XP, Lean, etc.
These are all foundation. Next I need to find a way to show them how they can use the ideas in their projects.

If you are trying to gain understanding about Agile then you are wrong if you take the Manifesto as the basement EXCEPT you are searching for gaining understanding into Agile Sofware Development, with is not the same. About your least of methods, Lean is not Agile and is not a method too. I wrote a short article that was published by PM Network (http://www.pmnetwork-digital.com/pmnetwork/april_2016?pg=73#pg73)
Agile with a small "a" can sometimes be introduced by an individual (not necessarily the PM) to a team. Agile with a capital "A" usually requires some top-down support to be successful.
Grass-roots based introduction for one team could start with a light training session (e.g. lunch-n-learn) followed by a team discussion on how to start to adopt agile values & principles within existing delivery approaches. Over time as mindset & behavior changes are sustained, start to introduce practice or tooling changes.

Agile is not a method of methodology. So, if you are asking about Agile methdology then you are asking about to use Scrum (in fact is a framwork not a method), DSDM, XP, TDD or some of them. Then, the thing to do is to take the method book or related bibliography and being tranining with it.

We have a somewhat similar problem at my current employer. In our case, our Product and Engineering groups are strong Agile-Scrum users, but other groups such as Sales and Client Success have limited knowledge of Agile methods and view it as a fad that only complicates their effort. Hence, we need to introduce Agile-Scrum to them just to be able to communicate effectively. We are still struggling with doing that, but I would suggest the following:
1. Give a series of very simple, high-level (no more than an hour) seminars on Agile with a focus on the Scrum ceremonies, roles and why a Scrum approach is beneficial.
2. Invite/encourage everyone to attend some of the key Scrum ceremony meetings - particularly the Sprint Review where results of a sprint are demo'd and goals for upcoming sprints are presented. Make it a "must-see" event.
3. Establish some very clear and easily accessible reports that everyone can access in order to see what work is being accomplished.
There are other things that can be done, but by providing some basic information about Agile-Scrum and then involving people in the process itself, I think the agile concepts will become ingrained within your organization over time. Saving Changes...

I think the best way is to ask the team about the challenges they're facing on their current projects. Then provide examples of how Agile could potentially address those challenges. Saving Changes...
