Yes (to the first question) and Yes although I will leave a company or client if there is a culture of "bad" behavior.
The challenge is that without defining a baseline of what's meant by "ethics", it becomes highly subjective.

Obviously you want to work for a leader who is ethical. Sometimes it does not work out that way. Sometimes you do not realize what type of person they are until you have worked for them awhile. Then you need to make a decision. Is just this one person unethical or is it the culture of the company? If it is the culture then how long can you continue working for them. If it is the one person, can you move away from them.
Of course, throughout this process you will need to remain ethical. Do not compromise your own ethics for someone else. If they ask you to do so, then your answer is there. It is time to move on. Saving Changes...

The key question to answer is: what is the parameter to consider something ethical or somebody ethical or not? Is your organization code of conduct or code of ethic? Is your country laws?. That is the problem. Ethic and Dialectic is something that is a matter of debate from more than 1000 years ago. Perhaps my professional background close to philosophy make me think that sometimes this type of debates are out of context then it has no sense. Saving Changes...
