I volunteered with the Texas State Guard assisting with disaster management and recovery. The U.S. Incident Command System (ICS) has a lot of similarities to my PM jobs. I found great synergy between my volunteer work, as a hobby, and my job. A couple of years ago a new out-of-state project had me traveling 50%, so sadly I could no longer help with the disaster management.

I like to ride road and mountain bikes, and do some 4 wheeling in my FJ Cruiser. I really like being out in nature. Anybody in SoCal that wants to join me for a ride?
Bill, that's must be exciting and healthy at same time. good for you

Absolutely! I didn't hear the phrase "digital detox" until my 40's, my children use it in their teens!

But if we learn anything in life and in being a PM, it is that adaptation is one of the keys to continued success.
Change management and agile :)

Awww, I was hoping someone else enjoyed scuba diving. I'm underwater nearly every weekend. It is one of those spots where everything you see on a regular day no longer exists. In list form:
Scuba
Cooking
Wine tasting (at small wineries especially in the central California coastal areas)
Anything outdoors.
Rick, nice hobby ; scuba diving is very enjoyable I like it too but never done it

Thanks Riyadh. I hope my job allows me to get back to it. My hobby with my wife is SCUBA diving. We're Divemasters who like to occasionally help with classes, but I haven't been able to do that in a long time, either. Hopefully soon.
