I always find a way to make time for my hobbies. If you don't, it is hard to decompress and work at your best level. I enjoy reading, shooting/hunting, fishing (weather permitting), kayaking, and crocheting a lot. Really just having some me time any time I can is great!
Kimberly, that's fantastic you're so organized, like that

I find time for my hobbies, somehow. They include amateur radio, flying (mostly single engine land IFR), motorcycling, traveling, and enjoying the water.
Dorian, very great taste you have, I prefer rotorcraft (Helicopter) over fixed-wing aircraft.

Just returned from a week on the Isle of Skye, no WiFi, no cell signal for miles... had only family, wildlife , natural beauty and a camera for company.
PM became irrelevant, and I became a palpably different person, hobbies and detachment are vital for balancing life!!
Paul not long time ago we were having no mobile phone now we can't imagine our self without one

Absolutely! I didn't hear the phrase "digital detox" until my 40's, my children use it in their teens!

But if we learn anything in life and in being a PM, it is that adaptation is one of the keys to continued success.

Well you know that old saying about the shoemaker's children have no shoes... :-)

I tend to just work on whatever comes to mind that day. But self-imposed deadlines are when things really get done. Reminds me of Cesar Abeid and his "Life is a Project" approach.

On the other hand, a hobby can sometimes be a way to have less structure for a while. :-)
John that's true

I like to ride road and mountain bikes, and do some 4 wheeling in my FJ Cruiser. I really like being out in nature. Anybody in SoCal that wants to join me for a ride?

Awww, I was hoping someone else enjoyed scuba diving. I'm underwater nearly every weekend. It is one of those spots where everything you see on a regular day no longer exists. In list form:
Scuba
Cooking
Wine tasting (at small wineries especially in the central California coastal areas)
Anything outdoors.
