Hi all, I run a Veterans Project Management Mentoring Program partnering with 2 great Veterans Organizations Vet2PM and Veterans2Work.

Each quarter we kick off a new Mentoring Wave with ~15 Veterans seeking mentoring and guidance on the transition to Civilian Project Management careers. The Mentoring Wave runs for 3 months and we ask for about 2 hours/month to meet with your mentor. Most mentoring sessions are by phone and you can work with your Veteran to set your schedule.

There is no cost to the Veterans to participate and there is no payment to the Mentors for your time, this is strictly a volunteer program. We have over 20 states and 3 countries represented.

Please let me know if you are interested and we can get you signed up to help out our Veterans!

PMO Joe, this sounds interesting.

And two hours per month sounds very manageable.

Do you have some outline/guidance for this activity? (other than "setting objectives") If I participate, I want to be sure I'm bringing something useful to the program. :-)

Hi Joseph,

I'd be interested in exploring this further as I'm a Veteran and would like to help others with a successful transition. I live in North Vancouver, BC and I'm originally from the UK so I can help Vets in either country.

Thanks

Jan
