I am looking in to taking this course to then take the CAPM exam for certification through PMI.

Can anyone provide some insight on this? Looking for experience feedback and maybe some helpful tips or suggestions.

Will this course fully prepare me for the exam once ready to take? How is the online experience? I assume it's a bunch of modules with some tests and quizzes..

Thank you in advance.

I'm curious also, as I was interested in The Complete Agile Project Manager (9-course series) as well. But compared to other online offerings, there's lack of detail info like the course structure or who's the instructor.

I can only guess from the PDUs that they are around 20 hours long.

On your question, the benefits did say that "....If successfully completed, provides the contact hours needed to meet the credential application requirements". So yes, it does seem to cover the CAPM exam with full 23 Contact Hours.

I spoke with 2 reps via chat on PMI site and really didn't get much info.

There's no instructor for the course. No book is sent to you or additional tools, everything is online. They did not answer very clearly if the material covered will effectively prepare me to pass the CAPM exam. I had asked how long you have access to the course up to completion, does it expire after a years time or when would it expire - they did not provide a clear answer to this.

The reps kept linking me to the same pages I've looked at when answering my questions.

I am at a slight loss here. In order for me to take the exam, I need this to qualify. As I was a PM back in 2013 for a year's time in the trade show division of a freight forwarder, I simply have no clue how many hours I've done and what the projects names were. It was a client by client basis, international logistics cargo handling to trade shows.

So right now I do not feel 100% confident that this course will even prepare me specifically for the CAPM as I have not gotten one clear answer on my many questions.

I've taken online courses before and have had issues that forced me to stop. I don't want to find out after spending the money that the coursework is very vague or even hard to understand. I need to know if this course is going to cover the material on the CAPM exam for me to spend my time studying and putting in the work.

Does anyone have insight on this course or can you at least share your experience with another course from PMI??

There's not even a breakdown of what the course covers. I find this hard to believe tbh. I have never seen this before where you basically are blind to the material.

Click on the 'Purchase Now' button and it will take you to a more detailed page ..... but again no mention of who's the instructor nor the Activity ID (which you need to provide if audited).

Alternatively, my own recommendation is to check out Joseph Phillip's CAPM Exam Prep Seminar (PMBOK Guide 6th Edition) at Udemy. It may appear "cheap" at less than $20 on offers for a full 23.5hrs online course, but I have taken his PMP and PMI-ACP exam prep seminars and enjoyed the experience. It has full lifetime access and you can claim the required contact hours using it's PMI Activity ID.

Thank you Boon.

Aside from finding another course, I went to the website you suggested and actually purchased 3 courses including the CAPM prep!
