The addition of a team charter as an output of Plan Resource Management was a valuable addition - this is synonymous with the ground rules or working agreements which agile teams develop early in their lives.

Communication technology was added as a key tool for Develop Team and that is likely one of the contributing factors to the reduction in coverage on the disadvantages of virtual teams.

Finally, Emotional Intelligence was explicitly called out as a tool for Manage Team - a good nod to Daniel Goleman.

I must have skipped EI and team charters, just shows how fast I skimmed through the PMBOK6. Great additions indeed.
