I agree with my colleagues here, there are several groups in LinkedIn that you can try. Anyway reading PMBOK and Rita's book is the best way to prepare for the exam, and after that try mock exams. Saving Changes...

Read the PMBOK and summarize it. Use this summary in the future if you want to refresh yourself. Join your local PMI Chapter and be a member of the study group - the storyline method is very useful to test yourself how much you understand about the ITTO and how each process interact with other processes.
Take minimum 2 mockup tests - one after reading your PMBOK. That will be your baseline. Take another one, after you have spent some time studying with the study group or if you have practiced your storylines.
Good luck.

Check out Velociteach.com. They offer 4 day courses that cover everything you need to know to pass. They are offered with live instructors in cities across the country and in virtual classes that you can take from home. Velociteach also has a great online learning tool that does the same thing but you can take those lessons at your own pace (no live instructor). Saving Changes...

The PMP exam recommendation tips are:
1. You should have university or college certificate, work experience not least than 5 years and 35 hours for PMP course;
2. Read PMP handbook and PMP exam outline very very well , because, the PMP exam will depend on the tasks as mentioned in PMP exam outline;
3. Read PMBOK last version from cover to cover at least two or three times to understand the PMI definitions and ITTO's as well, because, PMP exam ref. is absolutely from PMBOK;
4. Read Rita book, understand and practice the questions in each chapter. Rita book is for understanding the some topics like change request procedures, time network analysis, EVM, conflict resolutions, plan risk management response...etc;
5. Concern the topics, which are scope management, change management, communication management, stakeholder management & Risk management. The exam will ask you many questions related to these topics, and
6. You must practice a lot of questions to understand these topics and to understand how the PMP exam frame what does he ask. The best websites for PMP practicing are : PMSTUDY, PM PRECAT and some applications in Udemy; Good luck to every body!

Whoever yo study and in what form that takes, book the exam and work to that date, I found until the exam was booked I was just skirting the idea of studying. Once that date is set in stone you know you have to be ready. Saving Changes...
In my experience, the steps to reach PMP certification are:
- Before to start be sure of prepare all the material
- Read first, a PMBOK chapter
- Read the equivalent chapter of Rita
- At the end of the Rita´s chapter, do the exam
- Repeat the process to the end
- When you are confident do a simulator
- Analize the errors you had
- Read the PMBOK Glossary
- Memorize the formulas
- Do a lot of excercises (network diagram, tree decision, PERT, etc)
- Be calm
- Good luck! Saving Changes...
I passed the exam in Dec 2016 and this is what worked for me and may work for you too.
1. Get your self in a prep group. Possibly with a mentor who is skilled at training other gradutaes.
2. Read the PMBOK at least once, through and through.
3. Practice mock exams per chapter to know which knowledge areas are your weakest so you can focus on them later.
4. Practice at least 3 full exam papers under exam conditions. One of the biggest challenges is maintaining your concentration during the 4hr exam. Practising this will better prepare you for the final day.
All the best! Saving Changes...

My recommendation is searching into linkedin the groups related to exam preparation. You will find very useful information inside.
Hello
Greetings...
Thanks for your response.
please note that i have the books available - PMP 6th edition and Rita 9th edition.
i have already submitted the Exam fees and will just select the date for exam once i achieve my 60% studies.
Problem with me is that i cannot focus my studies continiously due to hactic schedule... i need someone who will guide me with their experience ... that how many hours study per day is enough? and how? SO I WILL SCHEDULE MY EXAMS IN JULY 2018.
that what i overall need :)
i really appreciate if you can HELP me. Saving Changes...

I would say that reading the PMBOK once and reading Rita Mulcahy's book thrice & do the exam after each chapter. then three mock test should be good. once you see your performance there you will know where you stand. All the best.
Doing the same here as i am also preparing for the PMP exam
from which website you are doing mock test .... is there any website .. on which i practice .. CHAPTER BY CHAPTER... it is then good for me to clear all my doubts. Saving Changes...

Everyone studies differently but I concentrated across a month, from Christmas through exam date of Jan 27 for PMBOK5. Make sure you devote time and effort by eliminating as much distraction as possible. Praizion (on YouTube and also specific coursework toward your 35 hours is available, plus ask to join his Savage on Saturdays for mentoring/encouragement). Rita's book is good. Corenelius Fichtner, Oliver Lehmann (very tough 75 question exam online, free, plus it links to other resources). Obviously study PMBOK6 and the Agile book. Good luck!
