Typically, they are on similar levels with PMs with the Officer usually working strategy with the PMO versus the PMs who are delivering projects. I would expect the salary to be similar to that of a PM within the same company. If you know the salary range of PM there, you should have an idea of the ball park you are in. Hope this helps. As Mounir says, it could be anything.
It will depend on what kind of PMO it is.
If it is a Supportive PMO, the position salaries could be lower than the PM salaries.
