Subject says it all.

Curious to your thoughts reflecting on your career and experience as to what you feel separates you from other project managers.

BONUS QUESTION - What ares do you still feel you need to improve and polish even after years experience?

Michael -

Pragmatism & agnosticism when it comes to practices, tools & methodologies. This comes from the breadth of experience I've gained in different industries, company sizes and project domains.

My ongoing area of development is mindfulness at managing my frustration when folks don't take ownership for the quality of their work.

My strength is I have a very broad range of experience. The corollary is that I have few specialties. One of the reasons I shifted to PM work was, as Kiron mentioned, specialization isn't generally required and sometimes not desired.

My other strength is documentation. It sounds and is boring, but it seems like every year fewer and fewer people can effectively document.
