My supplier of signage lies too much about deliveries and does not give accurate timeline for deliveries of items for a major project.
What can I do to maintain as much as possible the project deadline?

Omar-
It is very brave of you to bring this question to the forum. In response you have received some extremely valuable advice.
My experience within the KSA is filled with situations similar to your challenge.
I like to keep my communications with my Vendors simple. I explain the aggressive version of the delivery schedule prior to signing the Contract. I also promise to assure them of timely Payment as long as they are fulfilling their obligations. I also keep a constant line of communications open, and call in the Principals of the Company for a face to face meeting if necessary.
If I feel they are failing and not being honest with me, I find another supplier. I ALWAYS have a "Plan B" ready to go when dealing with suppliers and Vendors......

Good Luck!
