Hi,

I work for PMO, and cooperate with almost all Project Managers from the company. Each month I give an internal presentation on the project management subject to Project Managers in our company. Some parts of those presentations are the common PMI knowledge, some parts are related with our business and are classified.

Could you help me to understand how can I claim PDUs for those presentations in area of "Other Giving Back” ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I would think it is under either the Organizational Meeting or Give a Presentation section of Report PDUs.

Grzegorz -

You'd claim 1 PDU per hour spent developing & delivering the presentation. As Dinah indicates, Give a Presentation is the most likely choice.

Keep a copy of the presentation and some proof of the time spent (e.g. a timesheet) in case your submission gets challenged.

Sure thing Grzegorz,

That activity can be claimed under Giving back - Giving a Presentation. This will include the time spent creating AND giving the said presentation.

One hour of the activity = 1 PDU. So if you spent a total of five hours on the entire activity, that would give you five PDUs, etc!

Best!

Yes, Give Presentation is the right choice under Giving Back. There is a ? near every category and it tells you what activities you can claim there. Your description matches the Give Presentation Category.
