This year it seems different as the next virtual event is the PMI Talent & Technology Symposium which will happen on June 13. I just registered for this today.

Thanks everyone for the reply to my inquiry. Yes, there was a scheduling virtual conference in March 2016 & 2017. Very good conference; great format. Disappointed there isn't one this year. Perhaps organizers had trouble getting speakers, who knows! Saving Changes...
In the absence of a PMI Scheduling Virtual Conference this year, users of Microsoft Project do have access to a Project Virtual Conference on 6-7 June 2018. That's in less than 2 weeks. Saving Changes...
