Great PM never hide mistakes or blame others.

Yes, although initially it might seem odd or awkward, it is best that you admit mistakes as this helps build credibility with the team and improves collaborative efforts to learn and deliver
Cibin, well it is not odd but might few people consider it it's unusual to admit

It is of utmost importance to set the tone and take ownership of one's mistakes. Acknowledging mistakes and taking mitigating action improves trust, humanises leaders and creates a safer environment where making mistakes is OK, sharing them is accepted and collectively supporting each other to rectify them is celebrated.

Admitting mistake is positive response which provides condusive environment for learning from mistake. It is always better to admit your mistake as soon as possible for early and better solution.

Yes, always. And i admit and apologize my mistakes whenever it applies. Showing that i'm human and don't know everything. However i consider it's important to prepare myself the best i can to avoid them.

In my opinion admitting mistakes doesn't make you weak. If we want to be successful as a PM, we have to be willing to set aside our pride, our fears, and really come to recognize that to be a good PM that is deserving of their position of authority, we must earn not demand the respect of our team members.

Recognizing an error or mistake is key to build trust in our teams...also..for me is very irritating when I work someone that "is never wrong" or don't practice self-awareness
