Do you learn from your mistakes?

We try to never repeat a mistake. If it does happen once, we make sure it does not happen a third time.

I think it came with maturity and experience.

It is important to learn from your mistakes so as to avoid doing them again. We will always do mistakes, thats life.

It is also important to not make another mistake while you are trying to correct the first one.

Let me tell a story from this past weekend involving a pillow. So a pillow got something on it and I threw it in the washer. When I got it out, I noticed that it had a hole in it. It is a feather pillow. I put it in the dryer. After a while I thought, I wonder if the feathers are coming out. I opened the dryer to find feathers everywhere. I was so annoyed at my mistake that I was trying to clean them up. I was sweeping them into the trash can. As I am standing there with feathers everywhere, I decide that the pillow needs to go in the trash. I frustration, I dropped it into the trash can filled with feathers. Feathers flew up and were everywhere again.
So it is important when you make a mistake to remain calm and make clear decisions.
And there are still feathers throughout my house.

I think good or bad, experiences are what help us to learn lessons. So, in my opinion we should regret our mistakes and learn from them, but never carry them forward into the future with us.
