Isabella, I would suggest to evolve what your organization has in place rather than “import” a new template, it will increase the chances to have the changes accepted by the organization. Take a look at PMI’s PMBOK for the description of topics that should be included in the Project Charter and add what you’re missing in couple gradual enhancements (don’t try to resolve all gap at once it it’s significant).
