Project Management First Aid

This webinar will describe two tools that project managers can use in rescuing distressed projects, team members, and stakeholders. Project managers can use the Breathing-Bleeding-Broken-Consciousness model to stabilize the project emergency and buy time to fix the project problems. The Perception-Appraisal-Motivation-Action model aids the project manager in fixing communication problems with the project team and stakeholders.

Learners will be able to utilize the B3C Model (Breathing-Bleeding-Broken-Consciousness) to diagnose project problems and develop strategies to address the project problems.
Learners will be able to utilize the PAMA Model (Perception-Appraisal-Motivation-Action) to determine communication problems with the project team and stakeholders.
Learners will be able to describe how stress affects the cognitive and emotional abilities of project managers.
Learners will be able to explain strategies for effectively dealing with stress in constructive ways.
