Blogging on gantthead can be a great way to get your ideas out to your peers. Postings are widely read and often find their way onto the gantthead home page.

This wiki offers advice and guidelines for bloggers on gantthead.com. Please change and/or add to it as you see fit. It could use a lot of improvement.

Frequency

You should make your blog a (positive) habit. If your topic is near and dear to your heart and you consider yourself an expert, then you'll always have something to say about it. A posting every other day is a good goal, but that varies from blogger to blogger.

How Trackback links work:

Directories

Please sign up for Technorati and use their Ping Form when your blog is updated. This will ensure that your changes are indexed.

A similar service is available at BlogFlux.

You and your friends can also Digg your blog.

Here's a blog registration primer that's helpful in some ways. Note: Gantthead blogs do not have an automated ping mechanism in place. However, every blog has its own RSS feed.

Feedster is very popular as well.

Editing Your Blog

Pasting From MS WORD

The most common issue with gantthead blog editing is "pasting from Word". If you are creating your content in Word, then copying it into your gantthead blog, you must:

  1. Click inside of the large text box.
  2. Click on the "Paste from Word" button on the blog editor toolbar.
  3. Paste in the content.

Finding Content

Google News Alerts are a great way to find content. News clips related to your topic can be sent to your email inbox daily.

Blogging on gantthead articles, offering your unique point of view is certainly encouraged.

Projects@Work also has some great material that you can comment on.
