So, you’re planning on getting married? Congratulations! Now get ready for the “craziest ride” you’ve ever been on.
Traditionally, weddings (especially the more elaborate ones) are full of spectacle. There’s the beautiful wedding dress, the (hopefully not too tacky) bridesmaids’ dresses, the magnificent arrangements of flowers, the personalized exchange of vows, the emotional speeches, food, dancing…the list goes on.
Sure, there are some weddings that are smaller (fewer than 10 people), more budget-friendly (held in a backyard with crockpot contributions), or more performance driven (think skydiving or scuba diving). But for the most part, weddings have certain established norms of feature, function and cost.
To make a wedding possible, however, often requires a carefully crafted plan that encompasses the kind of responsibilities and tasks that should be carried out by a project manager.

For those couples that have the resources to bring in a true project manager (or for the purposes of marriage-related activities, a person called a wedding planner), there are meticulous degrees of management that need to be considered.
