We’re doing a construction expansion and I have some internal people that could do part of the work. Would I be better off to use them along with a hired architect and construction team to save money, or should I let the architectural firm take care of everything? Time is an issue!

A. When all is said and done with time cost, and quality, usually the most important thing to a company is cost. If you can save a significant amount by embedding existing workers in the project rather than bringing in everything from the outside, you will be doing the project a huge favor.

B. Artificial intelligence can do most of the work of a construction project, so other than physically moving materials and equipment, let AI set up the project and issue the orders for when and how portions are completed.

C. While it seems that the most cost-saving approach would be to use both internal and external sources of workers, it might allow for communication issues. Either hire one entity for everything, or implement additional ways the mixed team keeps exchanging important information in order to have it all come out on schedule and as planned.
