PMI Eric Jenett Person of the Year Award Winner

The PMI Eric Jenett Person of the Year Award celebrates individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the project management profession, exemplifying excellence in leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision. This prestigious honor recognizes those who have shaped the practice of project management globally, driving progress and innovation.

This prestigious award is named in honor of Eric Jenett, PMI’s third member and the first Project Management Professional (PMP®). A distinguished PMI Fellow, Jenett served as PMI President in 1971, Chairman in 1972, and Secretary from 1975 to 1976. As a founding member of the PMI Houston Chapter, he was recognized by PMI with the Distinguished Contribution Award in 1975 and a Tribute to Lifetime Achievement in 2010. Until his passing in 2011, Mr. Jenett remained unwavering in his dedication to advancing education and promoting excellence in project success.
