You go into a mall and purchase a sweater for your friend Jessica's birthday. In another store you find a piece of jewelry that matches the colors of the sweater. As you approach checkout, your organizer chimes to give you a message. The message says that the sweater you bought is the wrong size but the store has the right size in stock. It also informs you that if you are making this purchase for Jessica, you might want to know that a similar piece was bought a little while ago by another customer. In addition, they tell you that you left your keys at a coffee shop earlier and that security down the hall is holding them for you.

 

After exchanging the sweater and getting some different jewelry, going through checkout is a breeze. Especially since all you are doing is walking out the door.

 

While many forward-thinking people can look at the world around the corner and can tell you what may happen in the years to come in an Orwellian and somewhat paranoid way, the concepts outlined in this scenario are available right now as well as many others if we can bend our imagination.
