While the new PgMP credential from the Project Management Institute might appear to be a step in the direction to “upgrade from a PMP”, the reality is this new qualification is not positioned as a progressive step up from the PMP. In fact, the PMP is not even a prerequisite for the PgMP!
So if you are a project manager interested in continuing in that path and not necessarily embark upon the PgMP, where can you go? Here are some packaged-paths that I have put together, that you might want to consider.
