Use the Outsource, Luke
Outsourcing can be the answer to a number of difficult questions:
-
How can we temporarily increase our workforce until we can get full-time employees in place?
-
Is there a way we can add personnel during periods of high volume work?
-
Can we get trained individuals to cover for staff that are on leave or disconnected from the office?
-
How can we increase our resources if we don’t have the facilities and other resources to accommodate more people?
-
Can we work with someone to help develop solutions since our workforce is stretched pretty thin or doesn’t have the proper training?
When used as a quick fix or behind-closed-doors hiring process, however, the results can be lackluster and even detrimental. Too many firms have incorporated outsourcing into their business model because of opportunities for short-term gains--and without giving consideration to the potential for repercussion.

Steadfastly, this is not true. This mistake is often made because of the allure of promises regarding incredibly fast product/service turnaround or significantly cheaper wages.
