Security Technology: Top Priority for IT Decision-Makers
The fact that the U.S. federal government is pouring more money into security technology every year gives you an inkling of its importance. The security heavies in both the private and government sectors know full well that there are security threats and dangers lurking in cyberspace shadows that not only could destroy government and corporate networks, but also could cripple our most advanced communications infrastructure, making us vulnerable to attacks more devastating and lethal than 9/11.
Sounds like a trailer for a new sci-fi thriller. But this is no joke. It’s real. And if we don’t get our act together when it comes to security technology, we all face horrific unknown dangers. We are vulnerable to attack from within and beyond our borders. Americans have yet to come to terms with that reality.
