The PMP Project
Let me paint a scenario for you: Over the last number of years, you have been hearing more and more about the PMP. It seems everywhere you turn, everyone is getting their PMP, and you are feeling left behind as the mob rushes the gates. A number of your colleagues have their PMPs and are encouraging you to get yours. Your employer has asked you when you are planning on getting it. You have done your research and have determined that the PMP will help your career and advancement prospects. You realize that it is time to take the plunge and have started to study for it. You have a copy of the latest PMBOK and downloaded the application. You study a bit, work on your application a bit more, and take a few online tests. You feel you are making some progress, but progress is pretty slow. You keep asking yourself, “When do I want to write?” You don’t really have an answer.
