Attending training classes is just part of being a Project Management Professional if you are interested in keeping up with the certification. Even if you are not interested in the certification, it can be extremely valuable to stay informed about best practices and new methodologies related to the project management and program management fields.

Sign Up for the Right Class
Signing up for an agile framework class when all of your projects are implemented using the waterfall method may not be the best use of your time. Unless, that is, you know that there are some principles in the agile class that could be carried over into the projects you work on.
It is useful to examine all of the subject matter that will be discussed in the class you are looking to attend. Oftentimes, teachers will provide outlines or handouts in the material describing the class. This information can help you make a decision about whether that class will be the right one for you.
