The Mind: A Wonderful Thing to Map

To keep track of all the complex tasks required in hardware and software development, we often find ourselves using an equally complex project management method, software or system. It can be especially frustrating for PMs who, after spending a lot of effort in setting something up, soon realize afterward that it is too complicated a process for team members to update their status. This is even more frustrating when you recognize that the time utilized for managing the project takes longer than it does to do the work.
