…you will find little in any worthwhile articles or research. Like in the world of accounting, the principles that drive project management are pretty much defined and have been for decades. Sure you will find all sorts of information about agile and Scrum amongst PM-related data, but those are pretty much approaches to software development--not project management.

Of late, much of the improvements in the PM space are focused on portfolio management and business-driven Project Management Offices.
