The Future of Change Management

Braden Kelley is an innovation and change specialist, the author of Stoking Your Innovation Bonfire, an co-Founder, and is the creator of the Change Planning Toolkit™ and a book on the best practices and next practices of organizational change (January 2016 release).

As many of you know, I’m super passionate about helping organizations be better at innovation and change than their competition. My first book Stoking Your Innovation Bonfire was about helping organizations identify and remove barriers to innovation, and it has done very well.

The success of my first book has led to my next book Charting Change (Feb. 2016) in which I will share insights on how to make your change efforts more visual and collaborative with my new Change Planning Toolkit™.

Recently, I was identified in a mini-research study as one of the top “Key Opinion Leaders” in change management on Twitter by Maven7. They were curious about some of my opinions on organizational change, and asked me these two questions for an article titled “14 Insightful Quotes from Influencers in Change Management" on their blog:

  1. In your opinion, how will change management evolve in the next 10 years?
  2. Why is change agent involvement essential during a change initiative, and what best practices are there to involve them?
