PMIEF’s Partnerships Help Youth Build Life Skills

For 30 years, the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) has been committed to helping youth build life skills—such as communication, collaboration and community—through project management. Since the foundation narrowed its strategic focus in 2019, it has dedicated its efforts to focusing on partnerships with youth-serving nonprofits that share the same sentiment. PMI and PMIEF are proud to announce the first four partners:

  1. F1 in Schools™
  2. Special Olympics International
  3. Junior Achievement Africa
  4. Children International

"Nonprofits are increasingly expected to deliver societal value by readying youth to meet global demands," said Jeannette Barr, Executive Director of PMIEF. "Our partnerships provide organizations fiscal support, educational resources and access to volunteer expert project managers so they can better prepare their program participants to lead happy, productive lives and more effectively deliver against their stated mission."

PMIEF’s partnerships help prepare youth to better pursue their academic and professional goals by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for 21st century success.
