Software industries are always following Adaptive life cycles method - is it true?

It's not always true. It depends on project to project. Projects sometimes require predictive, adaptive or hybrid (predictive + adaptive) lifecycles.

High risk and uncertainties suggest to use adaptive approach but mostly companies following mid ground with hybrid approach.
