Peter Drucker wrote: "Making good decisions is a crucial skill at every level"

I have been managing projects outside my Country and my culture, and I felt ethical decision making to be influenced by culture, age, gender, and so forth.

Of course. working culture plays a vital role in this. Not allowing to take decisions which makes us lose our confidence levels.

PMI EDMF and our own individual ethics will definitely be used. But the culture and other practices pertaining to a specific industry or a country will have to be given higher importance while taking project decisions. If we are forced to make compromises on project objectives due to these factors, then Sponsors will have to be discussed with.
