Dear Fellow Members;
I work for a Canadian not-for-profit organization that serves immigrants, refugees, and other newcomers. We are in the process of designing a Community of Practice (CoP) for our settlement sector. I am seeking to connect with those who have been involved in designing, building, launching, and growing CoPs to learn about best practices and share experiences. I look forward to connecting and all feedback. Thank you!

Karen -

It will be important to clearly specify what the CoP is and isn't as I've seen some CoP's get into trouble due to a lack of shared understanding about their purpose.

I'd suggest coming up with a simple Terms of Reference to be circulated and endorsed by the key stakeholders.
