Archive lesson learnt not on the requirements then what?

Some of the client or end user don't ask for lesson learnt, so officially you don't have to document all lessons.

However, I believe it is so important even if the client doesn't ask for it, we PM should continue archiving for future reference and for our own experience as case study the only issue I see is the confidentiality of the information of the client should not fall in unsecured hands. We bear responsibility to protect the information of the clients

'LL was my weakness and I learned how to do it probably after a disaster. Regardless the deliverables it is one of the most important document to use in the future and learn from.

How every person is different same way every project is different, similar past project history can help up to some level, there is no single solution to all the problem , Documenting LL will be based on the writer and reader it will be perceived / interpreted. For archiving there are n number of ways and tools…. Pick which one suits for you in a given environment
