What great excuses have you been told when a team member keeps delaying an important status update?

2) I'm working on it right now.
3) I'm putting out fires right now.
4) My email keeps crashing.

The excuse really means I don't have a clue what to report. They try to buy time delaying their status. That is a red flag!
