I can not pass the PMP exam.
I have tried twice before, but seems to be lacking knowledge of closing.
I understand it on a text basis, but it will result in shortage when it comes to PMP exam.
Please give me some good advice.

I will share my experience- I did my certification with PMBOK5.
I studied the following
PMBOK- 2 times, mugging most of ITTOS
Rita- 2 times
Practiced Questions from PMP Exam Simplified- by Aileen Ellis
While solving the test, keep in mind what PMBOK Suggests and not what you practice.
I personally felt exam was testing more on memory rather than experience. More you read, more you will be ready to take exam. However, before giving exam, I would recommend, give online mock tests as many as you can.

Tsuyoshi - you are very close. The second exam was surprisingly not a pass, though the scores are more algorithmic and based on the difficulty of the questions. I would not be surprised if the next result was a pass, even with similar results. Stay resilient, but stay calm and focused.

Focus on controlling all the aspects of the exam you can; calmness and time management.

Can't way to hear of your success.

Thank you for comments and advice, encouragement words.

However, in the next exam, it is very uncertain whether the process category that became Target or above Target will have similar results.

I will agree with Dinah Young and Sergio Luis Conte, Practice as much mock as possible and while answering think from PMI perspective and not what you do.

Hello , I did not see your resume, so I am not certain if this answer is good.
How long have you been a project manager?
The best way to be ready for the PMP exam is to have experience managing many projects, because most of the answers for the exam are not really about process or what the book say but based on what you would do on a real situation which with experience you arrive to that answer naturally in the exam, or that is what was my experience when I took it

Hi Tsuyoshi,
I recommend you look at options and guidance propositions at:

Don't get dismayed with negative results. The volumes of questions can vary to a large degree between situational and formulae in each test sitting. Do not over analyse the results but keep your studies focused and structured. Definitely use timed simulation tests, plenty of them in the run up to your next exam sitting.

Best of luck!

Hi Tsuyoshi, I know what it is when your own language is very far from english :). I found it very useful to just practise the exam by doing simulation tests over and over again. I am sure you have all the needed knowledge to pass. It is just to learn the answering technique. Good luck! You will pass it!
