This community is growing bigger and some were part of it since the start. As a member of this community, what changes and/or additions would you like to see happen on this platform ?

Based on the comments here, we will gather and compile all comments in a list and send it to the concerned from PMI for consideration.

Rami,

Here a few suggestions
- Why not have the notification in the inbox on ProjectManagement.com?
- Invitation to connect should be valid for a fixed time.
- Option to "Follow" to get a notification of publication
- A post should force to have topics, limit of three is low.
- Filter, sort, search our network should be improved
- Rating should indicate the number of evaluation
- A template should be dated, it is not possible to see added templates since a date

agree with most suggestions
Good suggestions Vincent but what do you mean by the first one ? I did not get it, can you explain please.

The first one "Why not have the notification in the inbox on ProjectManagement.com?"

I mean the Inbox here just under our name, or it could be an activity log. What I was referring to is not to get an email in my regular email all the time.

If we could have another way of seeing notifications from here, set to be hourly, daily, or in a notification log.

We can turn off notification but what about more flexible notification.

Additionally

it would be nice to have the discussion in a hierarchical view. Replies just under the post not at the end of the discussion according to post time

I concur with the above suggestions.
I would love to see more categories to search, so we can avoid duplicate questions.

I fully agree with you, we need for example a category for Certifications so anyone can easily be guided there.
Yes. Instead of having one big discussion board, maybe it can be broken up into multiple groupings of discussion. For example, PDU questions come up regularly. They are often asking the same questions. And a board focusing on exam questions.

Let's also have a board for the many 'fill out this questionnaire' postings we get.

Why not make it like or incorporate features from Facebook, Twitter, Linked, Instagram, chat platforms, and other social media?

Project communication mediums have expanded to include above social medias, and these real-time methods of communications facilitate better collaboration and enable to stay informed even when teams are working in a co-located environment.

Great question from Rami Kaibini!

Agreed Girija except I am a bit hesitant about the dislike in item 2 like I mentioned to Sante earlier.
Yes, agreed Rami. 'Dislike' might create some hard feelings. But dislike can be enabled without showing the member details. Having 'Dislike' will enable everyone to provide their true feedback and will be helpful for writing better articles in future.

Here are a few things I would like to add to the list :
Discussions page
- When I type in a question system suggests the most recent discussions similar to that topic.
- System allows me to tag a few experts in my question who will be notified that i am seeking their insights.

Contributions page
- When I look at someone's profile it shows me their highest rated articles or whitepapers or webinars or discussions I might be interested to see their contribution.

Search content bar
- Search based on date-time like most recent or old or highest rated or contributor name.

PMchallenge
- Questions need to be updated and few answers are incorrect or irrelevant they need to be reviewed.
- Addition of situation based questions these will be interesting and helpful.

Connections
- Have a direct link to the connections page like network is available under my name dropdown.

Knowledge shelf
- Needs to have search criteria like category to easily search content based on relevant data.

Hi everyone,

This is great feedback, and we definitely hear you. We are regularly evaluating enhancements for the community and will make updates as they make sense for the overall community membership and for PMI.

Thanks!
