Hi guys, I'm looking for a PM tool that let me mix both worlds, traditional PM and agile approaches. Any suggestions?

I haven’t heard of a Hybrid tool yet so would be interesting to see the response of other colleagues of ours especially that agile goes beyond tools.

There are some good tools in the market like CA PPM tool, Planisware, Planview and EOS Recently we went through PPM tool process and we identified these are the market leaders in both PPM and Agile. Also, refer Gartner, they will also provide good insights.

Tool review highlighting pros and cons of each will be helpful.

Alejandro -

depends what you are planning to use the tool for. For scheduling, you could combine JIRA with one of the Gantt chart add-ons to be able to show both traditional and agile scheduling models. For team collaboration, you could use Confluence and/or Slack for either types of projects. For most other needs, the traditional & agile tools are pretty much the same.

Thank you all for your replies. As you may know this is an strategic desition that requieres a lot of time and I am still not sure. For instance, have you heard about Asana, LiquidPlanner, Bitrix24, Teamwork Projects, Wrike? Any opinions about them?

I'm with Kev on this one. My best tools are the ones I developed in Excel, tailormade. Be careful with all those commercial tools out there. Before you know it you're adapting your project to the tool!
