Do you support the concept of Hybrid Agile (Waterfall Agile)? Why?

So before somebody says that you cannot compare the two.....

Yes I totally do and have been doing it for years. I've always been very pragmatic and I use what works, not what the book or definition says. I've done some hair raising things that will have the purists turn in their beds, or graves and I'm sure so has most other but never want to admit it because the rules say you shouldn't.

The 'right' approach is whatever works for you at that time. Forget about acronyms, definitions and manifesto's. If you feel and know that something must be done then do it.

BTW my experience has always been that a hybrid approach comes more naturally than forcing one or the other.
