PMP is a unique project management qualification that is equally valued among all industries. Many of the PMP aspirants ask about some help to crack the PMP certification exam in the first attempt. Today I am sharing how I passed my PMP in the first attempt with an above-target score.
The formula for me to pass PMP was simple - a lot of practice tests that give an explanation to every answer. Whenever I came across something new through any question, I went back and checked about that thing. It helped me know the basics of many concepts and theories.
Among all the most important thing is consistency - you know slow and steady wins the race.
Here I am listing a few resources that helped me pass the project management professional exam (PMP) in the first attempt with an above-target score:
1. PMBOK Guide - I studied it in full, only once.
2. Create an account on projectmanagement.com if not already created and try PMchallenge and PMwars. It's a fun way of learning, that too from the project management community itself.
3. Do a lot of practice tests/exams. Daily spend 15-30 minutes. Some apps give a lot of choices to practice in various manners e.g. complexity-wise, process-group wise etc. Here are some recommendations:

if you studied the PMBoK Guide Part 1 in depth and in parallel to a good PMP prep book, there is no need to study the Standards Part in addition. You should just know about it.
