The answer to these types of "situational" questions are not simple "one liners". The interviewers are looking to see how you would "deal" with the situation from a managerial perspective. We have similar situational type questions when vetting candidates for higher-level positions. Failure rates are typically 40% - 60% and those that passed have done their homework.
