There is no difference. Project Manager is one thing no matter you perform the activity. To perform the activity you take a way (PMI, IPMA, GPM, etc) or a method (PRINCE2) for example. Hi. I also don’t see any difference, the IT in the title only means that the project manager will mostly deliver projects in IT domain and it may require certain knowledge that would be different when you perform project for instance in organizational change management.
