Searching For Business Intelligence & Project Management Software
Lawrence Williams IISr. Project Manager| Sky Financial GroupMiramar, Fl, United States
I am searching for Business Intelligence software for my Software Implementation & Support team that can provide the following (any suggestions on what software is best would be a tremendous help). The software would provide billable time and cost (fixed and hourly rates) tracking, standard project tracking that shows critical path. Inventory tracking for various items (all with varying costs attached). Travel expense tracking would also be included. Additionally, the ability to store or upload varying Statements of Work, Purchase Orders and Contracts is a feature that's not exactly a must have, but would make life tremendously easier. Please keep in mind the software needs to be very easy to maneuver (i.e., the total opposite of MS Project) for those not familiar with Project Management and its software. This software would also be accounting friendly where their personnel can pull month end reports for billing the customer (projects are billed/recognized at milestones for incremental percentages, i.e., 25%, 50%, 65%, 75%, 90, etc.) and tracking our expenditures. In my experience and from your email, you may need to build that from more than one tool, yes, agree with Eric regarding Clarity (I would not consider Service Now) as one of the tools and start exploring custom reports and outputs for your other reqs. I hope it helps Saving Changes...
