I am new here. I am about to take exam on PMBOK 6.
I ask for advice in regards to:

A. Exam prep questions. Are there any good online resources?
B. YouTube Videos to go over some chapters involving math calculations/formulas?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

But the paid resources are more benefits and increase the chance to pass exam. PMSTUDY, PMPRECAST and Udemy applications!!! You must solve not less than 3000 questions and make sure your score not less than 85%. Read PMBOK cover to cover carefully not less than three times!!!

Good luck

Preparing and taking teh PMP exam is a project in itself which requires planning. My approach for preparing was simple. Agree with Rami Kaibni on the suggested books and preparation Medium.

1. Go throught the PMBOOK, once as a quick read and second time, more slowly underlining critical areas.
2. You will find a lot of websites providing questions based on knowledge areas and different processes for free. You may also purchase RMC Fast Track CD which contains a huge question bank and provides the above.
3. Keep track of your scores in each knowledge/process area, this will help you identify areas of improvement.
4. Initially try to give atleast 2-3 Mock tests. DO NOT Foget to review the answers and the reasons even for the correct answer. This will help you give different perspectives than yours as well as further highlight areas of improvements.
5. Go Through these areas in PMBOOK to clarify all doubts and focus more on giving sample tests in these areas.
6. Once you have a good grasp of all the areas, atleast 2 weeks before the exam date, ensure you try atleast 1-2 Mocks every day, keeping track of your scores.
Note that most questions will always interconnect multiple areas while strongly focusing in the different Project risks.
Another word of advise, do not go through too many You tube videos as they would tend to confuse.

Do not focus too much on calculations, just remember the formulas and write them on the rough paper given to you before the exam. Most of the calculations will be fairly simple and straight forward requiring not more than a minute of your time. If you think the question has too many numbers, mostly likely there will be no calculations involved.

This had helped me in the exam and hopefully you may find it useful.

Good Luck for the exam.
