I guess free is only cheese in the mouse trap. If you have decided to get certified - you need to look at it seriously. That will require to invest time and money.
Buy PMI membership, this will give you FREE PMBOK.pdf and discount for PMP exam, which will mean you get membership for FREE.
Before you start studying, to understand what is everything about - watch on youtube processes explained by Ricardo Vargas (~1h) and learn by heart all 49 processes - it will make a sense later, during your studies.
Personally, i have spent 100-120 hours in total. I have used PMPREPCAST exam simulator (1600 questions, USD139) and you can check Joseph Phillips in Udemy, covering PMBOK 6 with slides and video coaching (USD15).
I haven't opened PMBOK book at all.
Good luck! Saving Changes...

I listened youtube videos where they read definitions from 6 ed. on my way to/from work. It helped a lot. I recommend that as an additional study trick. Saving Changes...
I am paying all out of pocket for the PMP certification (membership, classes, books and exam) so before I spend more I would like to ask for recommendation to recommend me best possible paid resource for exam prep questions. Thank you for your responses Saving Changes...

Hi Anton
The best paid resource I would recommend from my personal experience is PM Prepcast. I did all the exams on it plus read Rita and PMBOK twice .
The exam was a lot simpler after I had done PM Prepcast and got the feel of the simulators .
Best things in life may be free in some cases , but in this case the hundred and few dollars that I spent on PM Prepcast proved to be the best investment ! Saving Changes...
