PMI recently released the updated scheduling and risk management practice standards. If you haven't downloaded and reviewed them yet, you can do so from:

https://www.pmi.org/pmbok-guide-standards/...risk-management

https://www.pmi.org/pmbok-guide-standards/...-scheduling-3rd

A few of us regular projectmanagement.com contributors (e.g. Sergio, Rami, Stelian) reviewed and provided feedback on the drafts of these standards.

Ganesh -

These standards are the final published versions. They are separate from the PMBOK Guide, but from a consistency perspective, are aligned with the PMBOK framework (e.g. naming of the RM processes). While it is possible that the next edition of the PMBOK Guide might incorporate some of the details provided by these two standards, that will be up to the volunteer committee working on that project once the decision is made as to when a new edition will be drafted.
